Accessibility

Dedicated to making the State Convention accessible and inclusive

What We Provide:

If you or someone in your group has specific accessibility needs, we are here to help ensure a comfortable and engaging experience.

Preferential Seating for the Hearing Impaired

Seating near the front and close to audio sources will be reserved to support those who are hard of hearing.

ASL Interpretation

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be present during all main speaker meetings and other select sessions. Reserved seating will be available for those who use ASL.

Wheelchair Accessibility

All convention facilities, including meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas, are fully wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair-accessible seating areas will be available throughout the event.

Zoom Option for the Homebound

For individuals who are unable to attend due to physical limitations, we are offering a Zoom option to participate virtually. Details will be sent by request to those who contact accessibilities@aa-lastateconvention.org.

Spanish Translation Services

Live Spanish translation will be available for main speaker meetings and panels. A Zoom log-in will be provided—please visit the registration desk upon arrival

Additional Support

If you require additional accommodations not listed above, please let us know on your registration form. The earlier we receive your request, the better we can work to meet your needs.

For questions or special concerns, feel free to contact us at convention@aa-louisiana.org or speak to our team at the registration desk during the convention.

We look forward to welcoming you and ensuring that every attendee has full access to the convention experience!
